Important Info:
Run: Racing chairs will start 5 minutes before the rest of the competitors for the duathlon and 5K. Run/roll course follows a scenic path through to the Highlands and will be an out and back. Run & parking map
Cycle: Performed on closed Reading Blvd around a loop 6 times. We will have trackers this year to help with keeping track of competitors lap count as well as a timing mat.
Transition Area: **NEW** this year will be on a paved surface in the parking lot of the Wyomissing High School
Timeline of Events:
- Saturday September 10 10:00-12:00pm, early packet pickup at IM ABLE / Corps Fitness. Race day pick up available as well
- September 11th 6:30am - Registration Opens (race day registrations allowed)
- 8:15am - Start of opening announcements. Handcycle presentation by Kate Johnson. Moment of silence remembering those lost on September 11th 10 years ago as well as our own Steve Johnson, grant recipient and duathlon participant last year and our good friend, IM ABLE supporter and athlete Kyle Pagerly.
- 8:30am - Race kickoff by Steve Johnson daughter
***NEW***Kids Race!!
We will be holding a kids obstacle course before our awards ceremony. All ages welcome and all competitors will have bib#'s and all finishers receive an IM ABLE dogtag! Competors must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost is $10 and you can pre-register your kids by contacting our coordinator Catharine or sign up on race day.
